This magnificent model is from the famous anime and manga series Nausicaä.
The pieces have to be plugged together, so you won't need any glue. All pieces have the same color, so you might want to paint it. There's a Japanese instruction with lots of comprehendible pictures included, so it's not that difficult figuring out which parts have to been put together.
